Rudy Gay Makes NBA Dunk of the Night

Memphis Grizzlies star forward Rudy Gay hammers down a thunderous dunk in a game versus the not incredibly defense minded Golden State Warriors last night. The Grizzlies rallied to beat the Warriors 114 – 109. Rudy Gay is averaging 18.6 points, 5.6 rebounds 1.7 on the season.

Rudy Fernandez lobs the in-bounds pass to a cutting Brandon Roy who dunks it one-handed tomahawk style, catching the Golden State Warriors’ defense off guard. Roy is averaging 23 points, 4.9 rebounds and 5.1 assists this season.

What’s Chris Paul wearing? On March 14th the Jordan brand released the Jordan CP3.II.
The shoe features “Sixty1″ on both heels to  commemorate the 61 points he scored in a high school game just days after his 61 year-old grandfather was killed. It comes in Black and Orion Blue-White and takes advantage of both Nike Zoom and Max Air technologies.

Chris Paul's Signature Jordan CP3.II Basketball Shoe

Chris Paul to time out to meet fans and sign autographs as he introduced his new kicks at a Foot Locker in the Big Easy. Also in attendance was Jason Mayden, the Jordan Brand Senior Footwear Designer. Apparently the design is inspired by the Mardi Gras Indians and even pays tribute to Chris Paul’s hardcore love of bowling by incorporating bowling pins.

New Orleans Hornets superstar point guard Chris Paul dribbles the ball through the legs of Jason Terry then drives to the hoop and makes a beautiful assist to Rasual Butler for the 2-handed dunk. This season Chris Paul is averaging over 22 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. Currently the Hornets are 12.5 games back of the Lakers and are in 7th place in the Western Conference. It will be interesting to see what kind of run they are capable of putting together in the playoffs this year.
