Ron Artest Takes Kobe’s Elbow To The Neck

Thursday, May 7th, 2009

Ron Artest was ejected from last night’s  2nd game of the second round series between the Lakers and the Rockets. Artest took an elbow in the the neck from Kobe Bryant which apparently did not attract the attention of the referees so he decided to take matters in to his own hands and got up in the grill of Black Mamba to let it be known he was not particularly happy with the shot. Artest was definitely worthy of a technical foul  but not an ejection. It will be interesting to see if play gets more physical in Game 3.
